NBC is thrilled to welcome Dr. Barbara Meurer, GAICD, a Biodiversity and Bioprospecting Expert, as part of the Australian Volunteer Program in Bhutan.
Dr. Barbara joined National Biodiversity Centre on March 3, 2025, and will be with us for the next three months. She will be providing training to the officials at the Bioprospecting Laboratory on biodiscovery research and natural product development approaches and methodologies.
Having previously served at NBC in 2023 for a year, she has continued to support our colleagues remotely, strengthening capacities in biodiversity and bioprospecting research.
