  • Notice Inviting Expression of Interest (EOI) for consultancy services

    The National Biodiversity Centre, Ministry of Agriculture and Forests would like to seek Expression of Interest (EoI) from interested consultancy firms/ Consultant bidders as mentioned below for the following works.

    1. Expression of Interest may be submitted by a firm, association, or a joint venture of consulting firms.  For short-listing purposes, the combined experiences of an association or a joint venture will be evaluated.
    2. Separate proposal should be submitted for each category of work mentioned above.
    3. Expression of Interest should contain the following information:
    1. A covering letter addressed to the following:

    Program Director, NBC, MoAF serbithang

    ii. Applicants shall provide the following information in the respective formats given in the EOI documents:

    • Expression of interest as per format (Annex-1)
    • Applicant’s Information as per format (Annex-2)
    • Project Sheets (Annex-3)

     

    The evaluation of EOI applications will be based on the information provided.

    Therefore applicants are requested to supply all information requested in the respective formats.

    If EOI is submitted by the association or joint venture of two or more firms then the information in Annex-2 and Annex-3 should be provided in respective formats in the name of each member of the association or joint venture. The Annexures1-3  can be downloaded from website nbc.gov.bt

    1. Applicants may submit additional information with their application but short-listing will be based primarily on the evaluation of information requested and included in the formats provided in the EOI documents.
    2. Projects completed between January, 2000 to December, 2014 will be considered for evaluation irrespective of the project start date.
    3. The Expression of Interest (EOI) document must be duly completed and submitted on or before 7th May 2015 (11:30 AM). The document should be clearly marked as “EOI Application for short-listing consultancy services.”
    4. In case the submission date falls on a public holiday, the submission can be made on the next working day. Any EOI Document received after the closing time for submission of proposals shall not be considered for evaluation.
    5. The name and address of short-listed firms will be published in the National Biodiversity Centre’s website nbc.gov.bt and Ministry of Agriculture and Forests website www.moaf.gov.bt  Only the short-listed consultants will be invited to submit Technical and Financial proposals for the consulting service assignment.
    6. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to accept or reject any/all EOIs and cancel the notification without assigning any reasons.

  • Re-tender

    The National Biodiversity Centre, Serbithang is pleased to invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following:

    1. Construction of Nucleus poultry shed and renovation of piggery shed.
    2. Renovation of PGR Lab for In-Vitro and Cryo Bank.

    Tender documents can be purchased at Nu.300/-from the office of undersigned on any working days from 24/04/2015 till 6/05/2015.

    Last date of submission: 07/05/2015 before 11am.

    Opening date: 07/05/2015 at 11:30am.

  • Invitation of Air Ticketing Quotation

    The National Biodiversity Centre, Serbithang would like to invite sealed air fare quotation for the following sectors and dates, as per the terms and condition specified below:

    TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    1. The sealed quotation shall be submitted to the office of undersigned on 04/05/2015 at/before 11am and will be opened on the same day at 11.30am.
    2. Sealed quotation should be addressed to the Program Director, NBC, Serbithang, MoAF, Thimphu.
    3. Quotations without sealed envelope and EMD will be disqualified.
    4. The validation of fares and availability of seats should be as per the details mentioned above.
    5. The successful bidder should submit the photocopy of every air ticket along with their invoices for payment.
    6. The bid should be accompanied by 2% of EMD of total bid price. The earnest money of 2% EMD of the lowest evaluated bidder shall be retained with the Centre as performance security deposit and will be returned only after the delivery of the air tickets mentioned in the supply order for the above sector.
    7. The quoted rate should be valid for at least three months.
    8. Unconditional quotations like an increase of fares or changes of airlines at the time of travel are not accepted.
    9. In case the lowest bidder withdraws his/her bid then the second lowest bidder shall be asked to purchase and issue ticket(s) and the difference amount shall be borne by the lowest bidder.
    10. The purchaser reserves every right to reject the bids if it is found not responsive to our terms and conditions, and the decision of tender committee will be final and binding.

     

  • Air Fare Quotation

    The National Biodiversity Centre, Serbithang would like to invite sealed air fare quotation for the following sectors and dates, as per the terms and condition specified below:

    2. Sealed quotation should be addressed to the Program Director, NBC, Serbithang, MoAF, Thimphu.
    3. Quotations without sealed envelope will be disqualified.
    4. The quotation should be submitted in two copies, one marked as ‘Original’ and other one as ‘copy’.
    5. The valid trade license and other necessary documents should be attached.
    6. The bid should be accompanied by 2% of EMD of total bid price.
    7. The quoted rate should be valid for at least three months.
    8. The decision of the tender committee will be final and binding.
