The National Biodiversity Center, Serbithang would like to invite air fare quotation from the eligible ticketing agents for the following sectors, as per the itinerary provided below:

10th Sept, 2017…………………..Bangkok-Paro

1. The sealed quotation shall be submitted to the office of undersigned on 25/07/2017, not later than 11 am and will be opened on the same day at 11.30 am.
2. Sealed quotation should be addressed to the Program Director, NBC, Serbithang, MoAF, Thimphu and       accompanied by Nu. 1000 as an EMD in the form of cash warrant or demand draft payable to Program Director,     NBC, without which the quotation shall be invalid.
3. Quotations without sealed envelope will be disqualified.
4. The valid trade license and other necessary documents should be attached.
5. The decision of the tender committee will be final and binding.

Evaluation of bids will be based on fare as well as the availability of confirmed seats, suitability of travel timing and reputation of the airline for safety reasons.

As per the decision of the 133rd Lhengye Zhungtshog held on 20th June, 2017, The Interim Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS) Policy of Bhutan 2015 has been adopted as the Access and Benefit-Sharing (ABS) Policy of Bhutan, 2015. The ABS Policy shall be in use until the revision of Biodiversity Act of Bhutan 2003.
Further, the ABS Policy shall serve as a basis for making decisions on any proposal for Access to Genetic Resources and associated Traditional Knowledge and Benefit-Sharing arising from its Research and Commercial Utilization.
