The National Biodiversity Centre, Serbithang would like to invite air fare quotation from the eligible ticketing agent for the following sectors, as per the itinerary provided below:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked as “Quotation for Air Ticket” to the Program Director, National Biodiversity Centre, MoAF latest by 10^th December, 2018 on/before 11.00 Hrs and will be opened at 11:30 Hrs on the same day.
2. Airline and seats must be confirmed while submitting the quotation and submit confirmed itineraries.
3. The quoted air fare has to be valid for 2 weeks.
4. The validation of fares and availability of seats should be as per the details mentioned above.
5. The route should be the most direct without any stopover and the airline should be reliable and safe(should not be budget airline).
6. The rates quoted in the bid cannot be an “Excursion” and purchaser reserves the rights for the change in travel dates if necessary.
7. Unconditional quotations like an increase of fares or changes of airlines at the time of travel are not accepted, and shall result in forfeiting of EMD.
8. Tenders should be accompanied with a lump sum amount of Nu.5000/-only as earnest money in the form of demand draft/cash warrant issued in favour of the Program Director, National Biodiversity Centre.
9. The earnest money of the lowest evaluated bidder shall be retained with the Centre as performance security deposit and will be returned only after the delivery of the air tickets mentioned in the supply order for the above sector.
10. The purchaser reserves every right to reject the bids if it is found not responsive.
11. The decision of tender committee will be final and binding.
12. The successful bidder should submit the photocopy of every air ticket along with their invoices for payment.
13. Tender documents should contain a photocopy of valid trade license issued by Ministry of Economic Affairs.

The bids will be strictly evaluated based on the above terms and conditions.

The National Biodiversity Centre, Serbithang would like request all the eligible ticketing agent to ignore the invitation of airfare made via NBC and MoAFs on 28/11/2018 and note the changes made to the travel schedule and quote your bid accordingly to the revised schedule as given below:

4. The successful bidder should submit the photocopy of every air ticket along with their invoices for payment.

10. The route should be shortest possible with appropriate duration for transits, if any, reasonable boarding timing and in a reliable and safe airline.
11. The rates quoted in the bid cannot be an “Excursion” and purchaser reserves the rights for the change in travel dates if necessary.
12. The purchaser reserves every right to reject the bids if it is found not responsive.
13. The decision of tender committee will be final and binding.

Evaluation of bids will be based on fare, the availability of confirmed seats, suitability of travel timing and reputation of the airline for safety reason.

NOTICE INVITING EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

The National Biodiversity Centre (NBC), Ministry of Agriculture and Forests, Serbithang is pleased to invite Expression of Interest from Art and Design Firms (s) holding valid Bhutanese Trade License to “Design, supply and install biodiversity interpretation materials” at the Royal Botanical Garden, National Biodiversity Centre, based on the interpretation texts developed by the NBC and the size of the space available at the existing Botanical Garden Interpretation hall.

Terms of Reference, Interpretation texts and back ground explanations will be available from NBC’s website: Terms of Reference for EoI_Interpretation from 27^th November 2018 onwards.

Expression of Interest along with all relevant documents mentioned in the ToR need to be submitted by 10:00 Hrs on 11^th December 2018

Opening of Bids:  At 10.30 Hrs 11^th December 2018 at National Biodiversity Centre, Serbithang.
