The National Biodiversity Centre (NBC) warmly welcomed 20 Cultural Tour Guide trainees from the Bhutan Institute of Tourism and Hospitality (BITH) for a field visit as part of their vocational training program.

The visit provided the trainees with an opportunity to gain practical knowledge about Bhutan’s rich biodiversity and the vital role of NBC in its conservation and sustainable use. During the tour, the trainees were briefed on the Centre’s key programs, including Animal and Plant Genetic Resources, Bioprospecting and Access and Benefit Sharing, the National Herbarium, and the Royal Botanical Garden.
