Greetings Birder/Bird enthusiasts, Bhutan Biodiversity Portal is pleased to announce Bhutan’s First National Bird Month. National bird month will be observed from 17th April to 17th May 2023 to appreciate the pivotal role birds play in an ecosystem and also to acknowledge the bird enthusiast in conserving these magnificent species.
To participate in National Bird Month;
- Register in the Bhutan Biodiversity portal accessible at https://biodiversity.bt
- Upload Bird observations/photos in the portal during National Bird Month (17th April- 17th Mat 2023).
- Stand a chance to win an attractive prize.
Top 3 bird observation contributors in Bhutan will be awarded field gears along with a certificate of appreciation.
Top 10 observation contributors will be awarded with a certificate of appreciation.
