The field assessments and consultations on Invasive Plant Management plan was conducted at Bumdeling Wildlife Sanctuary (BWS) on 11 & 12 June 2022. The development of management plan on invasive plant species requires an intimate understanding of park resources, collaboration with park officials, and an understanding of a broad range of scientific concepts. Also, the field consultation with the officials from the Protected Areas network is crucial to make management plan user friendly for effective implementation in the fields. A total of 12 officials participated from Bumdeling Wildlife Sanctuary, Forest Territorial Division, Trashigang and Sakteng Wildlife Sanctuary (SWS) and National Biodiversity Centre (NBC).

Likewise, a series of consultations and field assessments will be undertaken with the officials from Royal Manas National Park (RMNP), Phibsoo Wildlife Sanctuary (PWS), Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park (JSWNP), Wangchuck Centennial National Park (WCNP), Phrumsengla National Park (PNP) and Jigme Dorji National Park (JDNP). The financial support is provided through the Bhutan for Life (BFL) scheme.
