6th June 2019: An Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS) agreement on biodiscovery research was signed between the Program Director, National Biodiversity Centre and the President, Korean Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB), South Korea. The agreement‘s main objective is to utilize biological resources of Bhutan in a sustainable manner and to accrue benefits arising from the use of biological resources. Furthermore, the agreement will also foster in promoting conservation of biological resources and strengthening technical collaboration between two institutions.
