The National Biodiversity Centre (NBC) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MoAL) in partnership with the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), is pleased to announce a call for Expressions of Interest (EoI) from eligible Bhutanese businesses and entrepreneurs to participate in the project โ€œScaling Bioprospecting as Nature-based Solutions for Green Mountain Livelihoods.โ€

The project will support entrepreneurs in enhancing nature-based products, ensuring they are commercially viable, environmentally responsible, and socially inclusive, in alignment with the principles of Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS). The project will select and support ten (10) aspiring entrepreneurs and businesses engaged in developing various nature-based products such as pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals, skincare, and wellness products to refine their offerings, validate their products, and scale their market presence.
