On 26th May 2016, Her Royal Highness Princess of Thailand Maha Chakri Sirindhorn made a brief visit to the Royal Botanical Garden, Serbithang accompanied by 31 other Thai delegates and officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thimphu.
Her Royal Highness was later escorted to National Biodiversity Centre to see the Herbarium facilities of the centre.
