On 8 May 2025, the National Biodiversity Centre (NBC) had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Kurt Nübling and Ms. Monica, Founders of PRIMAVERA LIFE GmbH: a Germany-based company specializing in the manufacture of aroma and natural therapy products, along with Mr. Adrian von Bernstorff and his team from TERRA Himalaya, a newly established Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) company in Bhutan focusing on aromatic and medicinal plants.
PRIMAVERA LIFE GmbH is the principal foreign investor in TERRA Himalaya. The meeting provided a valuable platform for productive discussions on potential collaboration in research and development of Bhutanese genetic resources within the framework of Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS).
