On 27th March 2026, the National Biodiversity Centre (NBC) observed its Monthly Zero Waste Hour in conjunction with Earth Hour, which was commemorated a day in advance this year.
All staff members actively participated in a half-day mass cleaning campaign at the Royal Botanical Garden, demonstrating a shared commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices. The initiative focused on waste collection, proper segregation, and promoting awareness on maintaining a clean and healthy ecosystem.
This collective effort not only contributed to improving the cleanliness of the garden but also reinforced the importance of individual and institutional responsibility in conserving our natural environment.
